GPSC opens New Delhi office to drive India renewable energy expansion
Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited (GPSC) has officially opened a new office in New Delhi, India, to serve as a management hub for its expanding renewable energy operations in the country. The move aims to support India’s national goal of reaching 500 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030.
Through its partnership with the Avaada Group, GPSC holds a 39.9% stake in Avaada Energy Private Limited (AEPL) via Global Renewable Synergy Co., Ltd. (GRSC). Over the past five years, the collaboration has grown a clean energy portfolio spanning nine Indian states, secured by 20-year Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) that provide stable cash flow.
GPSC CEO Worawat Pittayasiri stated that the new regional presence is intended to accelerate the preparation of AEPL for an Initial Public Offering (IPO) in India. The company also plans to expand into future energy innovations, including green hydrogen and data center-related energy solutions.
