GPT-6 Astra enables local PC gaming on iPad mini

Ammaar Reshi, a product lead at Google AI Studio, has demonstrated that the OpenAI model GPT-6 Astra can run several Windows PC games locally on an iPad mini. The games successfully tested include Skyrim, Batman: Arkham City, Hades, and Age of Empires II.

Unlike traditional cloud streaming, these titles were executed directly on the tablet's hardware using original Windows versions with custom-built touch controls. The technical feat was achieved through the autonomous capabilities of GPT-6 Astra, an agentic AI model designed to operate graphical interfaces similarly to a human.

Reshi reported that the AI worked largely unsupervised overnight, using video streams to observe its own progress, correct compatibility issues, and adjust settings. Reshi has indicated that a code repository and installation guides will be released to allow for independent verification of the setup.
