Grab and OVO Finansial provide business training to 1,400 merchants
Grab and OVO Finansial have completed the 2026 Teras Perwira program, a business and financial education initiative that reached 1,400 GrabMerchant partners across 10 Indonesian cities. The program, held between August and early September 2026, coincided with National MSME Day and the 2026 Financial Literacy Month initiated by the Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK).
The initiative spanned cities including Medan, Bandung, Palembang, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Denpasar, Makassar, Balikpapan, and Jakarta. Under the theme ‘Cerdas Jualannya, Tangguh Usahanya’, the program provided merchants with practical skills to navigate increasing business competition, changing consumer behaviors, and technological advancements.
Workshop sessions focused on three core areas: improving product visibility through digital marketing strategies like GrabAds, accurate pricing calculations, and rapid market opportunity identification. The program aimed to foster collaboration and strengthen financial literacy among small business owners.
