Grace Natalie clarifies embassy obligations regarding student academic documents
Grace Natalie, Secretary of the PSI Board of Trustees, has clarified that Indonesian Embassies (KBRI) are not obligated to store the academic documents of Indonesian students studying abroad. This statement follows reports from the Indonesian Embassies in Singapore and Australia stating they do not hold the academic records of Gibran Rakabuming Raka.
Natalie argued that there is no requirement for students to submit transcripts or academic data to embassies, citing her own experience obtaining two master's degrees from the National University of Singapore and Singapore Management University without such requests. She criticized the narrative suggesting that the absence of these documents at the embassy implies a lack of graduation or schooling, calling such logic flawed.
