Gracie Abrams releases album “Daughter From Hell” with Paul Mescal collaboration

Singer‑songwriter Gracie Abrams has unveiled her third studio album, Daughter From Hell, released by Interscope on July 17. The record includes the acoustic track “Imaginary Friend,” co‑written with her actor boyfriend Paul Mescal, who is credited under his real name. Abrams said writing the song was “just us f****** around” and added that “I don’t like the feeling of hiding.”

On the New York Times PopCast she addressed the “nepo baby” label, noting, “I had a safety net, and that allowed me the ability to experiment and to concentrate.” The album’s tracklist features songs such as “Death Wish,” “Broke My Heart,” and “What If It’s Right?” with a closing duet with Marcus Mumford on “Cold Goodbyes.” Abrams will support the release with The Look At My Life tour, kicking off in Denver (December 2) and moving through North America before heading to Europe, with dates in Paris, Manchester, Glasgow, London and concluding in Barcelona.

The release highlights Abrams’s shift from a privileged industry background to a broader artistic profile, while also marking her acting debut in director Babygirl’s upcoming film.
