Gracie Abrams releases “Look at My Life” ahead of July album

American singer‑songwriter Gracie Abrams issued the single “Look at My Life” on June 25, the second preview from her forthcoming third studio album Daughter from Hell, scheduled for release on July 17. The track was co‑written and produced with Aaron Dessner and is accompanied by a video directed by Mitch Ryan that shows Abrams driving through a rural town before escaping in a hot‑air balloon.

The single follows “Hit the Wall,” which amassed more than 88 million streams and entered top‑40 radio charts. Abrams discussed the new song’s themes of identity and success in an interview with The New York Times’ Popcast. The album includes a collaboration with actor Paul Mescal on the song “Imaginary Friend.”

To support the album, Abrams will embark on the Look at My Life Tour, a 64‑date run beginning on Dec. 2 in Denver. The North‑American leg includes four shows at Los Angeles’ Kia Forum and concludes at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on March 20. The European leg starts in April in Paris and will visit Amsterdam, Dublin, Manchester, Milan and Barcelona, ending in late May.
