Gracie Abrams releases third album 'Daughter From Hell' as heartfelt letter to her mother

American singer‑songwriter Gracie Abrams has issued her third studio album, Daughter From Hell, comprising 15‑16 tracks that serve as a personal diary and an apology to her mother. In interviews, Abrams explained the title reflects a long‑awaited letter to her mother, addressing past misunderstandings and expressing gratitude. Songs such as "Minibar," performed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and the opening track "Hit The Wall" explore themes of adulthood, breakup, loneliness and self‑reflection. Producer Aaron Dessner noted the album’s development began with the song "Look at My Life," which set the project's tone. Abrams also hinted at an upcoming acting role with A24 and a North American tour, "The Look at My Life Tour," expanding her presence beyond music.
