Gracie McGraw Says Ozempic Use Triggered Eating Disorder and Mental‑Health Struggles

Gracie McGraw, the 29‑year‑old daughter of country stars Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, disclosed that she was prescribed the GLP‑1 drug Ozempic in 2022 to treat polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and aid weight loss. While the medication helped her shed pounds, she said it also reignited disordered‑eating habits and worsened her body‑image issues. "It worked and made my PCOS symptoms easier to control, but it also brought back my ED and negative views on my body," she wrote on Instagram.

After three years on Ozempic, McGraw stopped the drug and later switched to a low dose of Mounjaro while continuing exercise. She reflected that the experience was "probably one of the worst things I've ever done for myself" and urged greater compassion in conversations about weight, health, and mental well‑being.
