Gracie McGraw says Ozempic worsened her eating disorder

Gracie McGraw, 29, the daughter of country‑music stars Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, disclosed on Instagram that she used the GLP‑1 drug Ozempic from 2022 for three years to treat her polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and to lose weight. While the medication helped her shed pounds and eased some PCOS symptoms, she says it also reignited a long‑standing eating disorder and intensified negative thoughts about her body.

She described becoming excessively thin without initially noticing, and noted that the weight loss initially brought more social and professional opportunities, but the psychological cost was high. Gracie has since stopped taking Ozempic and is regaining weight, while continuing to speak openly about the pressure of being compared to her famous parents and the broader "skinny culture" surrounding the drug.
