Gradačac Plum Fair awards quality prizes to dairy producers

Quality awards were presented at the 53rd International Agricultural and Industrial Fair, known as the Plum Fair, in Gradačac. The quality assessments were conducted via sensory analysis by a commission from the Faculty of Agriculture and Food in Sarajevo, led by Professor Nermina Spaho.

Dairy products were the most frequently submitted samples for evaluation. Gold medals were awarded to several companies, including MI99 d. o. o. Gradačac, Lactalis BH, Milkos Sarajevo, and Meggle d. o. o. Posušje. MI99 Gradačac received multiple gold recognitions for items such as milk, yogurt, Greek yogurt, sour cream, and butter, while also earning silver medals for kefir and cheese spread.

Lactalis BH secured gold for fermented milk and sour cream, with a silver medal for caffeinated milk. Meggle d. o. o. Posušje earned gold for various sour cream products. Milkos Sarajevo received gold for kefir and ajran, alongside silver awards for larger volume versions of the same products. Additionally, quality assessments were conducted for 72 samples of brandy and alcoholic beverages at the Monogram Distillery in Skugrić.
