Gradiant expands Global Engineering Center in Coimbatore

Gradiant has announced the expansion of its Global Engineering Center (GEC) in Coimbatore, India. The move is intended to strengthen the company’s engineering and project execution capabilities as it scales operations across sectors such as semiconductors, advanced manufacturing, renewable energy, and pharmaceuticals.

The expansion will more than double the center’s engineering workforce, increasing the number of professionals from approximately 100 to over 200. The facility will integrate multidisciplinary capabilities, including process, detailed design, and project engineering, to allow the team to manage more complex global projects.

According to COO Govind Alagappan, Coimbatore was selected due to its strong engineering talent pool and industrial heritage. The investment aims to support rising demand for advanced water and wastewater solutions driven by global investments in AI infrastructure and semiconductor manufacturing.
