Gradiant secures $300 million in water contracts for US semiconductor fabs

Gradiant has secured $300 million in new contracts from semiconductor manufacturing customers since the beginning of 2026. These contracts focus on providing water solutions across five fabrication sites located in New York, Virginia, Idaho, and Utah.

The projects involve a comprehensive portfolio of water cycle solutions, including ultrapure water (UPW) production, high-recovery wastewater treatment, local scrubber reclaim, and Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) systems. These technologies are designed to reduce freshwater demand and increase water reuse in environments where water availability is a constraint for chip production.

Some of the awards represent repeat business from existing customers. This includes the second phase of a high-recovery wastewater facility at one of the world’s largest semiconductor fabs and a scrubber reclaim design that has previously been implemented in Singapore, Taiwan, and the United States.
