Gradiant secures water contract for West Texas AI data center campus

Gradiant has secured a major contract to provide a comprehensive turnkey water and wastewater management system for a hyperscale AI data center campus in West Texas. The project is being developed by one of the world’s largest technology companies and represents one of the largest multi-billion-dollar AI-driven investments currently underway in the United States.

As the demand for AI computing power surges, water availability has emerged as a critical constraint for the construction and operation of new data centers, particularly in water-scarce regions like West Texas. Gradiant will utilize its HyperSolved platform—an integrated cooling water solution combining treatment technologies, CURE Chemicals, and SmartOps—to manage the facility's needs.

The system is engineered for zero liquid discharge, aiming to provide a blueprint for how hyperscale developments can expand into water-constrained markets without compromising environmental resources. This contract reinforces Gradiant's role in providing the essential water infrastructure required to support the rapid expansion of the AI economy.
