Gradisca d'Isonzo hosts Onde Mediterranee Festival with concerts and Giulio Regeni remembrance

The 30th edition of the Onde Mediterranee Festival runs from 7 July to 2 August 2026 in Gradisca d'Isonzo, Friuli, Italy. On Saturday 1 August the programme features a female duo performance: the project Lamante, led by singer‑songwriter Giorgia Pietribiasi, and award‑winning artist Joan Thiele, who has appeared at Sanremo. Sunday 2 August includes a concert by Rancore and a dedicated Giulio Regeni Day, organised with the municipality, the regional culture department, the Ministry of Culture and local cultural groups. The day commemorates the missing researcher Giulio Regeni with guided tours, a flash‑mob, musical tributes and a panel discussion involving his family, lawyers and activists.
