Grado City Council warns of sanctions for illegal waste disposal

The Grado City Council has issued a warning regarding improper waste disposal and the emergence of illegal dumpsites within the municipality. Local authorities noted that bags, cardboard, and other materials are being left outside of designated containers, even in central areas of the town.

Municipal officials stated that these actions cause issues regarding cleanliness, public health, and community coexistence. The council warned that they will strictly enforce the Public Thoroughfare Cleaning and Solid Waste Collection Ordinance, which includes imposing sanctions under articles 109 and 110 for repeated non-compliance. Local councilman Chema González Beovida has called for citizen cooperation to ensure proper waste separation and disposal to maintain the town's cleanliness.
