Grado to host Italian 10 km road running championships

The Italian 10 km road running championships are scheduled to take place on Sunday, October 4, in Grado. Organized by Asd Keep Moving, the event is expected to draw approximately one thousand athletes.

The competition will feature four categories: under 18, under 20, under 23, and senior. The race will follow a circuit through the streets of Grado, running between the town center and the sea. Announced participants include Pietro Riva, Francesco Guerra, Elvanie Nimbona, Valentina Gemetto, and Joyce Mattagliano.

Olympic marathon champion Stefano Baldini and European marathon champion Anna Incerti will serve as event testimonials. Regional Vice Governor and Sports Assessor Mario Anzil noted that the event serves to promote the Friuli Venezia Giulia region and extend the local tourism season into the autumn.
