Grafftech uses augmented reality to animate murals in Tarragona

In Tarragona, the company Grafftech, a branch of Suite of Art, is using augmented reality to bring urban murals to life. These interactive artworks allow residents and visitors to use mobile phones to view 3D figures, interact with characters, and access educational content via QR codes.

The project includes approximately forty murals across various locations in Catalonia, Spain, as well as in Puerto Rico and Acapulco. In Tarragona specifically, the initiative focuses on Roman heritage and local neighborhood history, featuring works such as the 420-square-meter mural of the charioteers Fuscus and Eutyches in the Francolí district.
