Grafschaft Bentheim and Emsland police report multiple incidents

Police and fire department reports from the Grafschaft Bentheim and Emsland regions detail several incidents occurring on September 25, 2026.

In Meppen, unknown individuals stole nicotine liquids, and a leaf blower was also reported stolen. In Papenburg, a burglary occurred at a single-family home on Langeooger Straße. Additionally, a 66-year-old bus driver in Papenburg was injured during an escalation on a line bus, after which the perpetrator fled.

Other reported incidents include a fire in a trash can near a school building in Schüttorf.
