Gramado sees major hospitality investment and local tourism initiatives

GAV Hotéis e Resorts has inaugurated the Gran Valley resort in Gramado, representing an initial investment of approximately R$ 200 million. The new establishment features 197 apartments and marks the company's entry into the Serra Gaúcha region.

The company plans further expansion in the city with two additional projects: Gran Garden, which will have 240 apartments and is expected to open in 2027, and Gran Haus, which will offer 332 units. Total investments for these three developments are expected to exceed R$ 700 million, providing a total of 769 rooms.

In a separate local initiative, Grupo Dreams has launched a promotional campaign for residents of the Serra Gaúcha region. From August to October 2026, residents of municipalities including Gramado, Canela, and Nova Petrópolis can access four local attractions—Dreamland Wax Museum, Dreams Motor Show, Jardim do Amor, and Hollywood Dream Cars—for a promotional price of R$ 49.99 per person.
