Gramado to host charity parking event for Hospital São Miguel

The city of Gramado, in partnership with the company Rek Pay and the Hospital Arcanjo São Miguel, will host a ‘Solidarity Parking’ event from October 10 to 12. All funds collected through parking meters and Rek Pay agents during this period will be donated to the hospital.

The initiative is supported by the Municipal Transit Secretariat and local government leaders, including Mayor Nestor Tissot and Vice-Mayor Luia Barbacovi. The dates were selected to coincide with the high volume of vehicle traffic expected in the city center due to Children's Day on October 12, maximizing the potential for fundraising.

Mayor Tissot stated that this is the first in a series of mobilizations intended to improve and equip the infrastructure of Hospital São Miguel, calling for community engagement to support local healthcare.
