Grampians Health opens new paediatric rehabilitation rooms

New paediatric rehabilitation rooms have officially opened at Grampians Health’s Queen Elizabeth Centre in Ballarat. The facility was renovated following a Christmas appeal that received a $23,000 donation from the family of Edith Wallace, a one-year-old who passed away at Ballarat Base Hospital in November 2025.

The upgraded hub features refreshed therapy spaces, child-sized furniture, specialized equipment, and interactive resources. The rooms are designed to support play-based rehabilitation and allied health services for children dealing with various illnesses, injuries, developmental issues, and post-surgery recovery.
