Gran Avenida construction aims for year-end completion

Construction on the Gran Avenida is progressing across various fronts. Despite delays caused by heavy winter rainfall, which necessitated soil replacement in certain sectors, municipal authorities aim to open new sections to traffic by late October and complete the entire project by the end of the year.

Chief of Staff María Pasqualini reported that work is moving quickly, noting that lighting installation, the undergrounding of electricity and fiber optic cables, and the first layer of asphalt are already underway. Funding for the project is secured, with approximately 42 percent of the municipal budget linked to public works.
