Municipal infrastructure and urban management updates across Spain and Mexico

Various municipalities in Spain are implementing urban improvements and managing local disputes. In Atarfe, an investment exceeding 288,000 euros is being used to renew asphalt and water supply networks on Salitre, Vicente Aleixandre, and Málaga streets. In Cádiz, the local government has authorized three Aguas de Cádiz projects totaling over 865,000 euros to improve hydraulic networks and replace old pipes in several sectors.

In Torrent, authorities have completed the renovation of parking areas on Moratín street in the Calicanto urbanization, focusing on pavement repair and signage. Meanwhile, in Sada, a controversial street reurbanization project on Antonio Sanjurjo Badía has reached the courts following a financial claim by the contractor and resident complaints regarding construction quality.

In Mexico, residents of Gran Calzada in Yucatán are seeking legal recourse through the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation to halt a natural gas compression station booster, alleging it poses risks to their homes and could lead to forced displacement.
