Gran Cava Supermaxi wine festival expands to Guayaquil and Quito in Ecuador

The Gran Cava Supermaxi wine festival returns to Ecuador, adding venues in Guayaquil (September 18‑19 at Country Club Samborondón) and Quito (September 25‑26 at Rancho San Francisco). Organized by Corporación Favorita, the event showcases hundreds of wine, liquor and beer labels from Chile, Argentina, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Ecuador and other producers, alongside live music, tribute bands and artistic performances.

Attendees can join open tastings led by international enologists and sommeliers, enjoy curated food pairings from top local restaurants, and receive a tasting booklet, cup and cup holder with each $40 ticket (VAT included). The festival aims to deepen Ecuador's emerging wine culture, which is also highlighted by L’Oenothèque Wine Experiences & Boutique in Guayaquil, promoting Italian wines and the broader gastronomic link between pizza and wine.

The expanded format reflects growing consumer interest in premium wine experiences among Ecuador’s evolving middle class, positioning the country as a new focal point for the Latin American wine market.
