Ximena Herrera eliminated from La Casa de los Famosos México

Ximena Herrera has become the second eliminated contestant from the fourth season of La Casa de los Famosos México. Following a high-tension elimination gala on August 9, Herrera was sent to a new area called ‘El Exilio’ (The Exile) rather than being permanently removed from the competition.

In this new dynamic, Herrera will compete against Mariana Ochoa, the season's first eliminated participant, for a chance to return to the main house. The two will remain in isolation for 48 hours while the public votes to decide which one earns a second chance to rejoin the competition.

The elimination process was marked by significant tension, including a confrontation between participants Ese Pérez and Masad Altamimi regarding religious beliefs and household chores. Additionally, the ‘Exilio’ mechanic has drawn criticism from some viewers who view the representation of the space as insensitive to the living conditions of many Mexican families.
