Demi Vollering wins 5th Tour de France Femmes in Nice

Dutch cyclist Demi Vollering has won the fifth edition of the Tour de France Femmes in Nice. Vollering, representing FDJ-Suez, secured the overall victory after a strong performance, finishing ahead of Poland’s Kasia Niewiadoma and Italy’s Elisa Longo Borghini on the podium.

Vollering’s victory follows a season of significant success, including a double win of the Giro and the Tour. Despite facing challenges on Mont Ventoux and dealing with a knee injury earlier in the race, she managed to reclaim the yellow jersey during the eighth stage.
