Gran Premio Nuvolari vintage car rally to traverse Italy

The 36th edition of the Gran Premio Nuvolari, an international historic regularity rally dedicated to legendary driver Tazio Nuvolari, is set to begin. The event features approximately 280 to 300 crews from around the world driving authentic vintage vehicles representing 35 different automotive manufacturers, including Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, Jaguar, and Bugatti.

The race covers a route of over 1,100 kilometers, passing through several Italian regions including Lombardy, Emilia-Romagna, Tuscany, Marche, and Umbria, as well as the Republic of San Marino. This year's competition includes 80 pre-war vehicles built between 1923 and 1939.

Ferrara will serve as a key stop for the rally, with crews scheduled to arrive at Piazza Castello for time checks before moving to Piazza Ariostea for special trials. The event officially commences in Mantova, with technical inspections held at Palazzo Te and the start of the procession from Piazza Sordello.
