Gran Salón Inmobiliario 2026 showcases real estate investment in Bogotá
The 20th edition of the Gran Salón Inmobiliario is currently being held at Corferias in Bogotá, showcasing over 1,500 residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The event serves as a major regional hub for real estate investment, featuring developers from Colombia, Panama, and the Dominican Republic. Key highlights include a dedicated section for used housing and various financing options, including social interest housing (VIS) and mortgage credit advisory.
In the broader Colombian market, the real estate sector shows signs of recovery. Data from the first half of 2026 indicates 78,423 homes were sold in the country, with financing disbursements reaching $7.31 trillion pesos, an 11% increase compared to the previous year. In Bogotá specifically, high-end investment remains concentrated in the Chapinero and Usaquén localities, with neighborhoods like La Cabrera and El Nogal commanding the highest prices per square meter.
Other regional developments include the automation of the Santa Elena water treatment plant in Medellín, a project exceeding $2 billion pesos, and the expansion of electric mobility in Santander, where electrified vehicle registrations grew by over 65% in the first half of 2026.
