Gran Teatro Falla faces organizational crisis amid leadership vacancy

The UGT union has denounced organizational failures at the Gran Teatro Falla in Cádiz, claiming the venue is ‘headless’ following the medical leave of the Head of the Electrical Department.

According to the union, the Cádiz City Council has failed to implement an effective substitution for the role despite ongoing scheduled events, such as the upcoming ‘Antifaces de Oro’ ceremony. UGT argues that there is an existing administrative process for this position with two qualified candidates who have already proven their merits.

The union is demanding that one of these candidates be appointed provisionally to avoid ‘arbitrary designations’ or improvised solutions outside of established procedures. UGT has criticized the management's ability to handle the situation, stating that the lack of organizational response should not impact the service or the staff.
