Grana Padano Consortium partners with ANT for cancer prevention
The Grana Padano Consortium has renewed its partnership with ANT (Assistenza Nazionale Tumori) to support cancer prevention through the ‘Progetto Mammella’. During a ‘Prevention Day’ held at the Consortium’s headquarters in Desenzano del Garda, mobile medical units provided breast ultrasounds and screenings, specifically targeting women under 45.
Renato Zaghini, president of the Consortium of Protection, stated that supporting scientific programs in nutrition and health awareness is a significant commitment for the organization. The initiative aims to encourage regular screenings and promote health-conscious practices within the dairy supply chain, which employs over 50,000 people.
