Granada and Managua “A” have advanced to the final of the XLV National Youth “A” Baseball Championship 2026. The semifinal matches took place on Saturday, September 19, at the Jackie Robinson Stadium in Managua.

Granada secured its spot with a 12-2 victory over Masaya, a game decided in five innings. Erick Talavera earned the win, pitching five complete innings with six strikeouts. Offensive contributions included three RBIs from José Marchena and two RBIs from Edgard Cantón.

Managua “A” defeated Chinandega 5-2 to claim the second final berth. Andrew Chávez was credited with the win, while Jader Hernández recorded the save. Dereck Herrera contributed two runs and a triple for the Managua side.

The championship final is scheduled for Sunday, September 20, at the Jackie Robinson Stadium.
