Sevilla FC signs Scottish striker Robbie Ure
Sevilla FC has officially signed 22-year-old Scottish striker Robbie Ure from Swedish club IK Sirius. The transfer involves an initial fee of approximately £5.5 million (€6.5 million), with potential add-ons bringing the total value to roughly £7.6 million (€9.2 million). Ure, a former Rangers academy player, arrives in Spain following an impressive stint in the Allsvenskan, where he scored 15 goals in 15 matches this season.
Ure becomes the third Scottish-born player to represent Sevilla, continuing a historical connection between the club and Scotland that dates back to its founding in 1890. The striker is expected to make his debut against Rayo Vallecano at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan stadium.
In other football news, Real Madrid appears to have finalized its squad for the upcoming season without further major signings, despite interest in midfield reinforcements. Meanwhile, basketball clubs CB Morón and Covirán Granada have begun their respective preseason preparations, with Covirán Granada focusing on medical evaluations and training sessions ahead of their return to Primera FEB.
