Granada IMV benefits reach 30,785 households in July

In July, the Minimum Vital Income (IMV) reached 30,785 households in the province of Granada, covering 92,295 people, according to data from the National Institute of Social Security (INSS). The average monthly payment per household was 578.03 euros, totaling 19.2 million euros for the month.

The benefit shows a significant gender profile, with women representing 70% of household heads (21,595) and 52.6% of total beneficiaries. The program also plays a critical role in child protection, with 36,459 children and adolescents receiving the benefit, accounting for 39.5% of the total recipients in the province.

Additionally, the Child Support Complement (CAPI) provided extra assistance to 21,059 households. In July, this resulted in an average additional aid of 67.90 euros per child and 120.61 euros per household.
