Palas de Rei nursery school expands capacity to 39 places

The municipal nursery school in Palas de Rei has increased its capacity from 30 to 39 places following the completion of summer construction works. The project included the creation of a third classroom and was supported by a 47,500 euro contribution from the Xunta de Galicia’s Consellería de Política Social e Igualdad.

Alfonso Villares, the Xunta's territorial delegate in Lugo, and Palas de Rei Mayor Pablo Taboada inspected the works. The service remains free for families. Additionally, regional investments in the area include funds for improving access roads to Campo Maior, Lestedo, and Outeiro de Burdallos, as well as paving projects and environmental improvements.
