Granada secures 2.6 million euros for iQuantum AI project
The Granada City Council has secured a grant of 2,624,000 euros from the Ministry, via Red.es, to develop the iQuantum project. This strategic initiative will be supported by an additional 15% municipal co-financing.
The project aims to establish Granada as a leading technological ecosystem by focusing on artificial intelligence and digital transformation. It is designed to create a smart city model that connects research from the University of Granada and other centers with technological companies and public administrations to address citizen needs.
Key areas of focus for the iQuantum innovation space include urban mobility, sustainability, energy efficiency, administrative digitalization, and public resource management to improve overall quality of life.
