Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising pre-orders open for Nintendo Switch 2

Cygames has announced that pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch 2 version of the fighting game ‘Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising’ opened on August 27. The title is scheduled for release on September 17, 2026.

The Nintendo Switch 2 version will feature a console-exclusive ‘Gyro VS’ mode, allowing players to execute combos and abilities by shaking the Joy-Con controllers. Additionally, the version will include the ‘Chain Attacks’ and ‘Super Ultimate+’ mechanics introduced in the 2.60 update.

The ‘Legendary Edition’ is available for pre-order and includes the base game along with all released DLC, providing access to 40 playable characters, including the character Id. Early purchasers can receive the ‘Reverence Attire’ costume for Sandalphon as a bonus. The game will also be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Steam.
