Grand Hotel di Riccione sold for over 29 million euros
The historic Grand Hotel di Riccione has been sold at auction for 29,365,000 euros following a competitive bidding process involving 16 rounds of increases. The winning bidder is New Eden srl, a Rimini-based company specializing in real estate development, urban regeneration, and hospitality structures.
The auction began with a base price of approximately 24.86 million euros. Two participants had qualified for the procedure after depositing 2.5 million euro guarantees. The final price represents an increase of roughly 4.5 million euros over the starting bid.
The sale concludes a legal process initiated by the 2023 bankruptcy of the former owner, Marebello sr. The acquired lot includes the landmark hotel complex and several other properties, such as Villa Bianca, the ‘Magazzini’ (which includes a restaurant and apartments), Torre 900, Villa Bruna, and the current pool area.
New Eden srl has a prior history of local investments, including the acquisition of the former Bertazzoni colonies.
