Grand Prix d’Isbergues cycling race begins 80th edition

The 80th edition of the Grand Prix d’Isbergues commenced on Sunday, September 20, 2026. The race covers a distance of approximately 202.5 kilometers, featuring a circuit that includes the ‘boucle des monts’ and various climbs such as Quernes, Lières, and Fauquenhem.

Fourteen teams are participating in this anniversary edition, including three World Teams. Notable competitors include defending champion Olav Kooij, Milan Fretin, and 2024 winner Arvid De Kleijn. The course layout is expected to favor sprinters.

Unlike the previous year, the race will not be broadcast on television. This change follows the event's removal from the FDJ United Series calendar, which led the organizers to forgo the costs associated with television production.
