Grand Seiko announces limited edition SBGW325 to mark Caliber 9S anniversary

Grand Seiko has announced the Elegance Collection SBGW325, a limited edition timepiece commemorating the 25th anniversary of the Caliber 9S manual winding mechanical movement. The model pays homage to the 2001 SBGW003 design, featuring distinctive Arabic numeral indices.

The watch features a deep navy dial inspired by traditional Japanese indigo dyeing (aizome) and is equipped with the Caliber 9S64 manual winding movement, which offers a 72-hour power reserve and high precision. The 37.3mm stainless steel case includes a box-shaped sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating.

Each piece comes with a handcrafted indigo-dyed crocodile leather strap and an additional shrink-processed cowhide leather strap, both sourced from LWG-certified tanneries. The model is limited to 600 pieces worldwide, with 450 allocated to the Japanese market, and is scheduled for release on October 9, 2026.
