Grand Seiko announces limited-edition SBGW325 watch
Grand Seiko has announced the release of the limited-edition SBGW325, a timepiece designed to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the brand’s first mechanical hand-winding movement, the 9S54 caliber. The model serves as a tribute to the SBGW003 released in 2001.
The SBGW325 features a minimalist design characterized by raised Arabic numerals originally created by designer Nobuhiro Kosugi to harmonize with the Grand Seiko lettering. The watch includes a matte navy blue dial inspired by traditional Japanese Hon-Ai indigo dyeing techniques, accented by silver-colored numerals, Dauphine hands, and a gold-colored seconds hand and logo.
Technical specifications include a 37.3mm stainless steel case, a domed square-shaped sapphire crystal, and Zaratsu-polished surfaces. The watch is powered by the 9S54 caliber and comes with a dark blue crocodile leather strap and an additional grey calfskin strap. The retail price is approximately €5,700.
