Separately, a gamer purchased a low‑cost Xbox 360 development kit at a flea market in Edinburgh and discovered an early, unfinished build of Grand Theft Auto IV. The beta, dating from November 2007, contains cancelled features such as a zombie mode, alternative weapons, extra character models, additional radio dialogue and a planned ferry system for Liberty City. The find has been shared online for community analysis, and the owner is considering selling the dev kit.
