Grande Fratello Vip to return on Canale 5 in September 2026

Mediaset announced that the reality series Grande Fratello Vip will resume broadcasting on Canale 5, with the ninth season slated to debut on 21 September 2026. Ilary Blasi will return as host, and the program is expected to run for about two and a half months with a reduced roster of 15‑16 celebrity contestants.

Separately, former contestants Tommaso Zorzi and Alex Di Giorgio were seen together in Rome, staying at the St. Regis hotel. Their appearance, following previous public statements that their romance had ended, has reignited speculation about a possible reconciliation between the two ex‑partners.
