Grande International Hospital hosts gynecological cancer awareness panel

Grande International Hospital in Kathmandu hosted a panel discussion to observe Gynecological Cancer Awareness Month in September 2026. Held under the theme ‘Our Stories. Our Movement.’, the event focused on the prevention, early diagnosis, and treatment of gynecological cancers.

The multidisciplinary panel included oncologists, medical professionals, and clinical psychologists. Moderated by Prof. Dr. Padam Raj Pant, the session addressed the importance of timely health screenings and the necessity of psychological support for patients undergoing cancer care. Medical Director Dr. Binod Bijukchhe emphasized that proactive community education is essential to reducing the burden of these diseases.
