Granit Osmani withdraws support for KLA protest march in Skopje

Granit Osmani, Director of the Language Implementation Agency and a former KLA fighter, has withdrawn his support for an upcoming protest march in Skopje scheduled for September 27 at Skanderbeg Square. While Osmani maintains his support for the underlying cause and the former leaders of the KLA, he stated that he is withdrawing support for the organization of the event because it has become clear that it is being driven by political interests.

Osmani criticized the Democratic Union for Integration (BDI), asserting that the KLA is not the property of the party and that former fighters should not serve as “decor for anyone’s political survival.” He emphasized that while he remains a supporter of the cause and his fellow veterans, he opposes the use of the KLA name as a shield for partisan agendas.
