Granola AI Meeting Notes App Expands to Apple Watch

Granola Inc., a U.S. developer of an AI‑powered meeting transcription tool, has released a dedicated Apple Watch version of its app. The watch app works on Apple Watch models running watchOS 11 or later and lets users start real‑time transcription with a single tap from the lock screen or a widget, sync meetings from Google Calendar, and access notes via Siri. Transcriptions are stored centrally and can be edited, searched, or shared, with the same features available on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Windows.

The service, currently free on iOS and watchOS, will later introduce paid subscriptions, and desktop versions already offer business plans starting at $14 per month. Granola’s co‑founder Chris Pedregal said the Watch app aims to capture in‑person meetings without reaching for a phone. The company became a unicorn after a $125 million Series C round led by Index Ventures.
