Graphic India and Sadhguru partner for animated film ‘Shiva: The Adiyogi’

Graphic India, the studio behind ‘The Legend of Hanuman’, is partnering with spiritual leader Sadhguru to produce an animated feature film titled ‘Shiva: The Adiyogi’. The project is co-created and written by Sadhguru and Sharad Devarajan.

The film aims to present Shiva not merely as a deity, but as the Adiyogi (the first Yogi) and Adiguru (the first Guru). The narrative is described as a cosmic story spanning from the darkness before creation to the peaks of Kailash, exploring themes of love, loss, wrath, and spiritual awakening. Key plot elements include the rampage of Veerabhadra and the devotion of two women that influences Shiva’s decision to share yogic knowledge with humanity.

This ambitious production seeks to bring Indian mythology to a global audience through a blend of animation, action, and spirituality, marking a significant mythological venture for Graphic India.
