Graudiņa and Samoilova reach Hamburg Elite 16 beach volleyball final

The Latvian beach volleyball duo Tīna Graudiņa and Anastasija Samoilova have reached the final of the Hamburg "Elite 16" tournament as part of the Beach Pro Tour. After advancing to the semifinals via a walkover due to an injury to their Brazilian opponents, Tamela Coradello and Victoria Lopes, the third-seeded pair defeated the second-seeded Brazilian duo Carol Salgado and Rebeka Cavalcanti with a score of 2-1 (16:21, 25:23, 15:11).

In the final, Graudiņa and Samoilova will face the Swiss pair Nina Brunnner and Tanja Huberli.

In the men's competition, Mārtiņš Pļaviņš and Kristians Fokerots, seeded fifth, advanced to the semifinals to face the German duo Nils Elsner and Luis Vistu.
