Graveyard releases ‘Fever’, a raw 1970s-inspired rock album

The Swedish rock band Graveyard has released their seventh studio album, titled ‘Fever’. The record is characterized by a raw, gritty, and energetic sound that draws heavily from 1970s-inspired heavy rock, blues, and psychedelic influences.

Moving away from the darker, more melancholic tone of their previous work, ‘Fever’ emphasizes a vintage aesthetic with elements of proto-metal, stoner rock, and garage rock. The production, mixed by Pelle Gunnerfeldt, aims for a warm and organic feel, avoiding the overly metallic production often found in modern heavy rock releases.

Key tracks include ‘Back From The Grave’, which sets a heavy tone reminiscent of Black Sabbath, and ‘A Better Cut (Note To Self)’, noted for its intense vocals and guitar work. Other notable songs include ‘Year Of The Horse’, ‘A Means To An End’, and ‘Time To Tell’, which features influences similar to Creedence Clearwater Revival.
