Gravina di Catania teenager charged after scooter pursuit

A 17-year-old from Catania has been charged following a high-speed scooter pursuit in Gravina di Catania. The incident began when Carabinieri officers spotted a scooter being operated without a helmet.

Upon seeing the patrol, the individual attempted to flee, performing dangerous maneuvers and driving against the flow of traffic. After a chase through the town, officers successfully intercepted and identified the teenager. Investigations revealed the individual was also driving without a valid license. The minor has been charged with “fuga pericolosa” (dangerous flight) and cited for multiple traffic violations.
