Gravina in Puglia advances 2027 Capital of Culture bid

Gravina in Puglia is advancing its bid to become the Puglia Capital of Culture for 2027 through a series of collaborative initiatives known as ‘Fioriture’. Scheduled for the first week of October, these working sessions aim to restructure and harmonize the city's cultural program with regional resources.

Led by Ignazio Lovero, the project emphasizes participatory methodology. Building on the ‘Germogli’ creative hackathon, where citizens proposed ideas for the candidacy dossier, the upcoming workshops will involve citizens, associations, foundations, and experts. These sessions are designed for co-designing and co-creating materials and activities that will form the foundation of the 2027 cultural program.
